The Economic Development Advisory Committee (EDAC) is a Board of County Commissioners appointed committee focused on economic development issues and recommendations for the board.

Meeting monthly, this 13 member committee is dedicated to increasing the economic opportunity for DeSoto County and sustaining a enterprise friendly environment. This committee is composed of business professionals and local government officials.
